Song of Freedom: The Shabbat HaGadol Sermon

Inspiration and guidance for a joyous, kosher and epic Passover.

I will be leading the community in a light third meal, singing, and finally his sermon on “The Song of Freedom”

There is a centuries-old custom for the congregation’s rabbi to deliver a significant sermon on the Shabbat before Passover. This sermon, called the Shabbos HaGadol Drasha, is the one of the two most significant speeches that a rabbi gives all year. (The second being btw Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur)

This is a great opportunity to hear guidance and inspiration at this important time of year. Don’t miss “The Song of Freedom”!

You are encouraged to bring your friends, neighbors, relatives and countryfolk to share in the experience!

A light meal will be served.

We will start with Mincha at 6:00pm and Maariv will be at 8:10.

When: April 12th, 6pm
Location: Pico Shul, 9041 W. Pico Blvd
